They Like It!!
Had good luck with this fly on my trip to Sylvania Wilderness Area in the U.P. of Michigan this summer. I think the wiggly legs are an added bonus that helps to attract the fish. I ordered the 04 hook size. This is a rather large fly, and a bit on the heavy side once the "tail feathers" get wet, but was able to cast it fine fishing from a canoe with my 9ft. 8wt. rod loaded with 10wt. floating line.
