The most ACCESSIBLE large gamefish fly fishing species in the country!SpongeBob

The biggest challenge facing sportsman today is access - access to quality water and land to pursue our passions. Land privatization is escalating at an alarming rate. Many are simply buying their access, good public land and water opportunity is deteriorating.

With smallmouth, it’s different.

GOOD NEWS
Waters once treated as sewers are cleaning up. More polluted sections of rivers are reclaimed every year as conservation groups with and without federal cooperation are cleaning up fragile habitat. In many areas rivers and streams hold populations of game fish today that did not exist thirty years ago. These include bass, walleye, northern and musky. The number of warm water game fish in many rivers is on the increase! Smallmouth bass are an indicator species for clean water. What’s more, they swim in waters often overlooked and ignored.

Now that’s what I call Good News!
