After extensive field testing, the verdict is in: Bass and Trout love these Big Hoppers.
We caught numbers of big smallmouth and largemouth with these Mega Hopper Poppers - using both a dead drift and popping technique.
We found the larger sized hook really helps to keep those fish on until landed.
These flies are about 2" long and are the most durable tied fly you will ever use.
It is not uncommon to take upwards of twenty fish or more - on one fly!

I've seen them in action - WOW!
I fish with Brad Miller quite often and have used these big hopper poppers. After the initial year researching the regular size selection, we thought bigger might work better in some situations. The Mega Hoppers bring big smallmouth up and they suck in the Mega's just like a big trout. The bigger hooks seem to hold fish very well and they're the most durable fly I've ever used.
