Assortment Packs Available in Medium size only - the best all around size for nearly all types of bass and other surface feeding fish, including saltwater.
This wedge shaped body shape tracks straight and pushes water, attracting big fish to explode on them.
Poppers are 5/8" by 5/8" at the biggest dimension and taper on both planes.
We recommend using a kink shanked hook, prewrapped with thread to add strength to the super or epoxy glue interface.
We use Mustad 33903 size 4 (not available on FlyBass, at this time) for this size blockhead.

Easy Tie Blockheads
Wow! I love how easy it is to work with these foam poppers. I only have one (1) eye and the vision in that eye is like looking through a key hole. I am legally blind. I thought sitting at the vice was something of the past. These Blockhead foam poppers have got me excited and interested in tying again. They are so easy to work with. I purchased the 36 assortment pack in medium size and they pair up great with the Mustad 33903 size 4 hook, just like Brad recommends. These would be great to start off with for anybody interested in getting started in fly tying. So simple a blind person can do it. Love 'em! Thanks Brad

This poppers have been my go to fly for top water bass this year. The heads are cut perfectly and fit the sz4 mustad kink shank hook like a glove. I love the ability to customize the heads to look anyway you want it to using sharpies. I will be buying these for some time to come!

Outstanding Popper
I recently got my first blockhead popper bodies. They tied easily to my favorite bass hook, the TMC 8089 size 6 and created a perfectly balanced fly. I use a 8 weight outfit for most bass fishing and I can easily cast these poppers to the full length of the fly line. On my first day using them I caught a largemouth that weighed a bit over 3 pounds. Great product. I'm a fan.

Best I've Ever Used
I recently bought some of your blockhead foam bodies and made a few poppers. They are the best I have ever used. I caught 5 bass in an hour largest was 3lbs. I was using a 5-6 weight pole with 6wt line and I struggled to cast them what weight do you recommend are you using a fast or moderate action rod? Thanks John

Block poppers
These are really nice. My only problem is that I though the holes were pre-punched for hook placement. Other than that I tied a few and they look good, can't wait to get some bass on them.

Caught Largemouth Bass!!!
I'm not an experianced tyer so I thought I'd try something that looked easy to tie. What I was'nt expecting was something that catches fish the way these Block Heads do!
