Dragon Fly Blockhead Popper

I've tried other dragonfly patterns on smallmouth and largemouth bass. Normally the wings are too stiff and cumbersome when put to use. This design down plays the wings, while retaining the thorax of the fly with soft foam. The fly lays flat on the water with hook angled down to aid in a solid hook set.
Our field testing has shown bass really respond to this shape while keeping the fly inline and not twisting when presented. This is another problem with fixed wing dragon fly patterns that can twist up your leader quickly.
