rainy's poppers
Rainy's poppers are a great addition to traditional deer hair if your fishing in water that grows algae. Tied inverted or weedless they keep you on the water, instead of wringing out a weedy waterlogged fly. Superglue works well to attach them to your pooper body, and I use "liquid fusion" (found in most craft stores-waterbased urethane) to coat the foam head and thread.
